Police: Drunk driver going 62 in a 35 mph zone

Police charged 26-year-old Jordan Martinez, of the 11900 block of Castle Wood, with DWI.

Martinez was allegedly speeding 62 mph in a 35 mph zone on the 1800 block of Firehouse in East El Paso.

Officers arrested the alleged drunk driver shortly after 2 a.m. Monday.

Police said Martinez, driving a Jeep Wrangler, also failed to “maintain a single lane.”
