Raynolds closed from I-10 to Alameda because of broken water pipe
Police closed Raynolds from I-10 south to Alameda near University Medical Center so crews with the water utility can fix broken water pipe.
ABC-7 learned the pipe is underground near the hospital’s parking garage. It burst at about 9 a.m. Monday.
The water utility dug a hole that swallowed a pine tree and part of the sidewalk.
Crews at the scene would not say how long it will take to fix the pipe and reopen the street.
