Police identify woman shot and killed inside Northeast home
The search continues for the person or persons who shot and killed a woman inside a home in Northeast El Paso.
El Paso identified the 27-year-old victim as Maria Rodriguez.
The shooting was reported just before 2 a.m. Sept. 9 at a home on the 8600 block of Guadalupe Drive.
Police said there were children inside the home, but the their relationship to the woman was unknown. Police did not say how many children were in the home, but said they with family as the investigation continues.
Police don’t have a description of a suspect and police are trying to figure out if the suspect and victim knew one another.
