City Council to discuss tax incentives for TOPGOLF
City Council Monday is scheduled to discuss and take action on a resolution that would allow the city manager to enter into a Chapter 380 Economic Development Incentive Agreement with TOPGOLF USA EL PASO.
TOPGOLF, which bills itself as the “premier golf entertainment complex,” is looking for tax incentives so it can develop one of its sports and entertainment facilities in El Paso.
The El Paso Times reports the entertainment complex would be located in West El Paso’s Montecillo neighborhood.
According to the TOPGOLF website, visitors “can challenge your friends and family to addictive point-scoring golf games that anyone from the hopeful pro golfer to your neighbor’s 7-year-old kid can play year-round.”
