Texas man, 50, sent to prison for sex with two Abilene girls

A convicted sex offender has been sentenced to more than 14 years in federal prison for having sex with two West Texas girls he met online and transported to his Fort Worth home.

Robert Blaine Harris was sentenced Tuesday in Fort Worth after having previously pleaded guilty to a charge of enticement of a minor and aiding and abetting.

Prosecutors say the 50-year-old Harris in December began an online relationship with a 13-year-old girl from Abilene. Harris in January traveled to Abilene and picked up that minor, plus another 13-year-old girl.

Investigators say Harris had sex with both girls during the week the children were at his residence before the teens were located by Fort Worth police.

Harris originally was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and kidnapping.
