Disturbance brings light showers Tuesday morning

A few light showers moved through portions of the Borderland Tuesday morning. These light showers will continue moving east, this afternoon. A few showers remain possible along the area mountains.
High pressure will bring warmer temperatures this week. Wednesday and Thursday we could possibly see record setting temperatures.

El Paso:

Today: Mostly sunny in the morning then clearing. Highs in the
upper 80s. South winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the southwest in
the afternoon.
Tonight: Mostly clear. lows in the mid 50s. North winds 5 to
10 mph.

Las Cruces:

Today: Partly cloudy in the morning. Highs in the
mid 80s. Southwest winds up to 5 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 50s. Northwest winds
5 to 10 mph.
