El Paso Gang Unit charges two with Deadly Conduct

The El Paso Police Department’s Gang Unit has arrested and charged two men with Deadly Conduct.

22 year-old Jamie St. Martin, and 22 year-old Christian Rodarte allegedly went to an apartment at 9550 Dyer Street with the intent to confront another individual.

St. Martin is alleged to have discharged ten found from a handgun into the apartment.

St. Martin, Rodarte, and a third unidentified individual are alleged to have then fled the scene in a silver Chevy Impala.

The Impala was stopped a short distance away and both men were arrested.

Rodarte has been charded with Deadly Conduct and his bond is set at $5,000.

St. Martin is charged with Deadly Conduct and Escape from Custody, and his bond is set at $10,000.

Both men were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.

The handgun used in the incident was identified as a handgun that was stolen in a Burglary of a Vehicle.
