Ezekiel Jones of Eastlake repeats as Sweet Play of the Week winner
EL PASO, Texas – Eastlake’s Ezekiel Jones is a master at turning botched kickoffs into touchdowns.
For the second time this season, Jones has won our Sweet Play of the Week after taking back a kickoff for a score. (Click above to see both of his winning returns).
In each case, the ball initially got away from Jones on the kickoff, but he was able to scoop it up and follow his blocks to the sideline for a Falcons touchdown.
Jones is the final winner of the Sweet Play of the Week for the 2016 season. Now, it’s up to you to decide who is worthy of winning the Play of the Year.

Jones and Eastlake turn their sights now to the first round of the playoffs. The Falcons play Andress Thursday night in what is sure to be an entertaining game.
Jones says Andress has a quality special teams unit as well, and whichever side makes more plays on special teams could come away with the victory.
In other playoff action Thursday, Canutillo tangles with Burges, Bowie and Parkland square off, Chapin and Del Valle battle it out, and El Dorado hosts Midland High at the SAC.
