Man killed on I-10 West near Executive

A pedestrian was killed on the freeway Monday night near I-10 West and Executive.

It happened at around 6:30 pm, causing the westbound lanes of the freeway to be shut down for hours. The freeway has since re-opened.

Police are investigating the possibility that the man may have jumped from the Executive bridge, or that he may have been pushed off.
