Local clothing line hopes to grant children’s wishes this holiday season

This holiday season, a local clothing line wants to grant the wishes of local children with life threatening illnesses.

GODGVN Athletics is hosting its first ever dodge ball tournament and toy drive Saturday.

GODGVN has teamed up with Reach for the Stars, a local non-profit organization, to help grant children’s wishes.

A few of those wishes submitted by children include a shopping spree, a Wii consul, and a limo ride with friends to go eat ice cream.

Proceeds from the tournament will be given to Reach for The Stars and toys collected during the toy drive will be given to local children.

The tournament will take place this Saturday Dec. 10th at Dream Arena, located at 6969 Industrial Avenue. It begins at Noon and ends at 4 pm.

Tournament participants will also be able to participate in the biggest “mannequin challenge” in the city.
