Man accused of capital murder in San Antonio triple slaying
San Antonio police say a man jailed for the past two months has been charged with capital murder in a September triple slaying at an apartment.
Police say Jacob Brownson, who’s been in custody since Oct. 11 in an unrelated case, was charged Wednesday in the fatal shooting of three men.
The victims – Anthony Rodrigues, Pedro Garcia Jr. and Matthew Martinez – were discovered Sept. 27 after someone passing by reported seeing bodies through a sliding glass door.
San Antonio police have said the victims appeared to be targeted. No motive for the shootings was immediately released.
Online jail records didn’t immediately list bond information for Brownson or an attorney to speak for him. Details weren’t released on the prior case.
