UPDATE: Elderly man driving wrong way causes deadly crash

Police say a 97-year-old man was driving the wrong way when he crashed into two other vehicles. The crash happened shortly before midnight on Loop 375. Police say 97-year-old Sebastian Favela Ramirez was driving the wrong way when he struck two other vehicles. Ramirez died at the scene. A 48-year-old woman driving one of the vehicles and her 11-year-old passenger were taken to University Medical Center. The woman suffered serious injuries while the 11-year-old suffered minor injuries. None of the passengers riding inside the other vehicle were injured.
