East dominates West in El Paso Football Showcase All Star game
It wasn’t even close at the Sun Bowl as the East All-Stars dominated the West from start to finish 52-8, Saturday at the Sun Bowl.
Utah commit, and El Dorado Aztec Tyquez Hampton, shined with 2 touchdowns in the contest while Eastlake’s Keith Tarango-Lopez had 2 touchdowns of his own.
But Lopez didn’t give himself all the credit; in fact the opposite.
“Definitely the linemen, the linemen don’t get any credit. and I couldn’t have done what I did today without them,” Tarango-Lopez said. “It’s all their work up front that allows me to be able to do what I do.”
While Hampton will graduate this month, enrolling early at Utah to participate in the Utes offseason program.
