Horizon PD: Stabbing victim accused of sexually assaulting child
Police say the man stabbed early Monday morning is now accused of sexually assaulting an underage girl.
It allegedly happened shortly before 5 a.m. Monday morning at the residence at 131 N. Kenazo within the Whirlwind Townhomes apartment complex.
Police officers called to the apartment learned a sexual assault had occurred and a man, identified as 20-year-old Joseph Hernandez, had been stabbed.
EMS crews rushed Hernandez to a local hospital for treatment.
An investigation allegedly revealed Hernandez sexually assaulted a girl. He was booked into the county jail on a $100,000 bond after he was released from the hospital.
