Police arrest man who allegedly robbed Bank of America across from San Jacinto Plaza

Police arrested the man who allegedly robbed the Bank of America on the 300 block of N. Mesa earlier this month.

On Wednesday, December 7, 2016, 48-year-old Jose Manuel Soto walked into the bank with a note stating he was robbing the bank.

Police said a bank employee confronted Soto, who dropped the note on the floor and ran away.

The note was recovered by police.

Investigators arrested Soto Tuesday, December 20, 2016.

Soto was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on the charge of Terroristic Threat. His bond was set at $2,500.
