Sunland Park Firefighter resucitate two dogs, save one

The Sunland Park Fire Department reports firefighters resuscitated two little dogs injured in a house fire, saving one of them.

A department spokesman says Sunland Park Police rescued 3 dogs before fire crews arrived on the scene.

Firefighters found two more dogs inside the home and used oxygen therapy on both, saving one of them, according to SPFD officials.

ABC-7 is told the fire was contained to one room of the home. Damage is estimated at $20,000. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
