Another storm system moves through the Borderland Saturday night and Sunday.

A strengthening disturbance aloft will swing past the region Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, bringing increased wind speeds and another chance for precipitation.

This system will be cold enough to deliver some Christmas snow to the higher elevations with a chilly rain expected elsewhere.

As this system departs, a rather quiet weather pattern will follow for a few days allowing for warming temps. Another storm system will arrive late in the week with additional rain chances for the end of the year.
