Police investigating collision involving a stolen van, witness says
Police are investigating a collision in East El Paso near Sumac and Sugarberry.
A witness told ABC-7 the crash Tuesday afternoon involved a stolen van that collided with two vehicles.
An elderly woman riding in one of the vehicles struck by the van was transported to a nearby hospital, the witness said.
The man driving the white van was taken into custody, the witness added.
Police at the scene would not give ABC-7 information. ABC-7 also reached out to a police spokesperson but our newsroom’s calls have gone unanswered.
