NMSU wins high-scoring affair to get back into winning column

The NMSU Aggies finally remember what it felt like to get a win after losing 2 in a row as they topped UT Rio Grande Valley 107-101 on the road.

The win moved the Aggies to 23-4 on the year and 9-2 on the season in WAC play to keep them within striking distance of first-place CSUB. Ian Baker led all scorers with a career-high 36 points on 11-of-18 shooting to go with his seven assists and four assists.

The Aggies don’t lose much at home as they have won 39-straight WAC matchups at the Pan American Center as they will play host to Utah Valley (Feb. 23) and Seattle U (Feb. 25) this upcoming week.
