Police investigating armed robbery at Las Cruces Church’s

Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Tuesday evening at an East Mesa fast food restaurant.

Police said a man walked into Church’s Chicken at 5092 Bataan Memorial shortly before 10 p.m., and robbed the restaurant at gunpoint.

The suspect took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police said the suspect is believed to be a White man with an average build. He was last seen wearing a gray sweater, blue jeans and black combat boots.

Police said he concealed his face with a camouflage mask at the time of the robbery.

No injuries were reported.
