Deputies arrest truck driver allegedly transporting cocaine

El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a truck driver allegedly in possession of nearly 58 pounds of cocaine.
On Tuesday, April 4, 2017, deputies conducted a traffic stop on I-10 East just outside Tornillo, Texas.

Deputies allegedly found the cocaine hidden in the truck’s cabin.

The truck driver, identified as Jose Luis Lozano-Castillo of El Paso, was arrested and charged with “Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group (Cocaine).”

Lozano was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $200,000 bond.
