Email accounts for UTEP alumni go down

Email accounts for UTEP alumni went down late Wednesday night, and are still unaccessible Thursday morning.

ABC-7 spoke with staff at UTEP’s technology support center, who were dealing with frantic calls from former graduates. ABC-7 is told that UTEP alumni are allowed to keep their email accounts, and that the issue is being worked on. An exact time-table was not given as to when the email accounts would be running again, but an ABC-7 was told that it might be resolved sometime later on Thursday morning.

No word on what caused the outage.
