Woman arrested on 6th DWI charge after crashing car 3 times

A Dona Ana County woman was arrested on her 6th DWI charge after crashing her car three times.

Dona Ana County Sheriff’s deputies say 50-year-old Dianne Tarr was returning to her home on the 4000 block of San Ysidro Friday afternoon after a fast-food run. Officials say the woman crashed into a gas line, water line and another vehicle.

Records reveal Tarr had five previous DWI charges and is on probation for aggravated DWI. Officials say the woman was also ordered to install an interlock device in her vehicle, but deputies say she didn’t have one.

Tarr was arrested and taken to the Dona Ana County Detention Center. She was charged with aggravated DWI, driving on a revoked license, and violating conditions of parole.

No injuries were reported
