Water service restored after break to water main

UPDATE: El Paso Water confirmed service was restored at about 2:00am.

A water main break Wednesday night left hundreds in Far East El Paso without water.

Shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday, El Paso Water tweeted that a contractor accidentally cut a water main at 4400 Rich Beem Boulevard and Montana Avenue.

El Paso Water said crews have been working to fix the problem. They hope to have the issue resolved Thursday morning.

Water trucks were sent to help customers in the affected areas:

Rich Beem Boulevard and Montana Avenue Flager Street and Montana Avenue Desert Meadows Road and Montana Avenue
