Man stabbed in Northeast El Paso dies, police say

Police are investigating a deadly stabbing at an apartment complex in Northeast El Paso, a police spokesman said.

The stabbing was reported at 2:20 pm at the complex at 3334 Zion. Police officers are blocking the entrance to the apartment complex and Zion at Alabama street.

Officers arriving at the apartment complex found a small compact car in the apartment complex and initially believed it was a car crash.

Officers learned the driver, a man, was suffering from stab wounds. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

Police officers confirm two passengers were riding in the car with the victim.

A juvenile hit the windshield when the car stopped and was treated at the scene. A second passenger was not injured, police said.
