Las Cruces Man Killed In Wreck
A Las Cruces man involved in a rollover wreck in Luna County died as a result of his injuries, New Mexico State Police said.
An investigation revealed a 2009 Chevrolet Minivan driven by Ashley Henriquez, 26, of Las Cruces, rolled on I-10 when the vehicle entered the median and over turned several times.
Henriquez’s front-right passenger, 27-year-old Joseph Henriquez, was not wearing his seat belt and was thrown out of the van, police said. Henriquez sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Three children were also traveling inside the van. One of the children sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, police said.
