Police identify man killed in weekend rollover, two 19-year-old women seriously injured

Special Traffic Investigators identified the driver killed in a crash on Global Reach over the weekend as 31-year-old Ricardo Bridges.

The crash happened Sunday May 28, 2017 on the 3900 block of Global Reach shortly before 1 am.

Police said Bridges was speeding in a 2009 Chevy Impala south on Global Reach when he lost control of the vehicle, striking the center median.

The Impala rolled and Bridges was thrown out of the car. He died at the scene, police said.

His front-seat passenger, a 19-year-old woman, was transported to Del Sol with serious injuries.

The rear-seat passenger, an 18-year-old woman, was transported to UMC with serious injuries, police said.

Police believe Bridges may have been driving drunk. The investigation continues.
