Rosie O’Donnell ‘maxed out’ in support of Beto O’Rourke

Comedian Rosie O’Donnell is backing Congressman Beto O’Rourke in his bid to oust Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz, the Austin American Statesman reports.

O’Donnell wrote in a Twitter post Tuesday morning she had “MAXED OUT to @BetoORourke’s campaign against Ted Cruz.”

The Statesman reports Sen. Cruz used O’Donnell’s support of O’Rourke as a fundraising pitch.

Cruz tweeted: “Out of touch liberals from across the US are trying to turn TX blue. We won’t let them.”
