Harmony School of Innovation expands its campus

Thursday afternoon, there was a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Harmony School of Innovation’s new kindergarten through first grade center.

City Rep. Sam Morgan also took part in the celebration. The school currently has 160 students and has a curriculum that teaches STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) to students starting in kindergarten.

“It’s important to have kids learn STEM at a young age,” said Lorena Chavira, Outreach Coordinator for the Harmony School of Innovation. “By exposing them, we are exposing them to grow their minds and start looking into a different field of education.”

Harmony School of Innovation has open enrollment. If parents are interested in enrolling their children the school invites them to visit the campus. It’s located at 5210 Fairbanks Drive, that’s in northeast El Paso.
