DPS releases names of El Paso men killed in rollover

Texas Department of Public Safety has confirmed two El Paso men were killed in Monday’s rollover on US Highway 62/180 near mile marker 66.

State troopers say a 2002 Dodge SUV was traveling east on highway 62/180 around 4:30 in the morning when it blew a tire.

The driver, identified as 40 year old Terry Parks, over corrected and skidded causing the vehicle to roll over several times. A passenger, identified as 48 year old Francisco Duran was ejected from the SUV.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Duran and another passenger, identified as 38 year old Jorge Saucillo were taken to Sierra Providence East. Duran was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Saucillo remains in serious condition at the hospital.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
