EPPD charge man with aggravated sexual assault of a child
Police officers with the Crimes Against Children Unit arrested an El Paso man on charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
Elpidio Elizondo, 42, was arrested Friday, September 15, 2017 on the 2000 block of Shreya St.
Police said the alleged sexual assault happened in between January 1, 2015 and lasted until September 15, 2017.
A complaint affidavit obtained by ABC-7 states the accuser told police she was first raped by Elizondo when she was seven years old. The girl, now nine years old, said Elizondo raped her more than 20 times, the document states.
Elizondo was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
