Aaron Jones nominated for two weekly NFL awards
Aaron Jones has been nominated for two NFL weekly awards after posting a career-high 131 yards rushing and a touchdown on Sunday against the Saints.
Jones, UTEP’s all-time leading rusher, was nominated for both the Pepsi Rookie of the Week award and the FedEx Ground Player of the Week award.
Fans can vote for their favorites all week long with the winners announced on Friday.

Jones previously won the Rookie of the Week award two weeks ago following his 125-yard performance on the ground in a win over the Cowboys.
The Packers have a bye this week before returning to action Nov. 6 at home against Detroit.
