Woman arrested on three outstanding criminal warrants
Detectives with the police department’s Crimes Against Children Unit arrested a woman wanted on three outstanding criminal warrants.
Marla Yvette Tribble, 24, is charted with Criminal Mischief, Criminal Trespass and Injury to a Child.
Police said detectives located Tribble at the McDonalds at 217 E. Paisano Monday, October 23, 2017. Tribble was booked into the County Jail on bonds totaling $7,000.
A complaint affidavit obtained by ABC-7 states Tribble was charged with Criminal Mischief on September 9, 2017 after she allegedly broke the window of an apartment unit at a complex located at 509 S. Hills. The complex belongs to the Housing Authority of El Paso. Damage to the unit was $389, the court document states.
Tribble was additionally charged with Criminal Trespass because she had been warned to stay away from the complex after an incident on December 2, 2015.
The Injury to a Child charge stems from an incident on June 24, 2017. An 11-year-old girl called police to report Tribble shook her and bruised her arms because the girl broke Tribble’s cell phone.
A witness told police Tribble “violently” shook the girl while telling her, “I hope you cry all (expletive) day.” The document further states Tribble placed the broken phone on the girl’s face while telling her, “next time you break something I’m going to (expletive) you up.”
