Fire crews responding to large apartment fire in Northeast

El Paso Fire Department crews responded to a large apartment fire in Northeast El Paso Tuesday morning.

The condition four fire was located at 11611 Dyer Street, which is at the Van Horne Estate Apartments.

When ABC-7 crews arrived, crews were putting out the fire in an apartment on the third floor.

Condition four is considered a large fire. Reports of the fire came in around 6:20 a.m.

Crews were working to evacuate residents from the complex, according to emergency scanners.

There was no immediate report on the cause of fire.
