19-year-old motorcyclist killed in wreck

Police identified the motorcyclist killed in Thursday night’s wreck as 19-year-old Benjamin Sanchez.

Special Traffic Investigators determined Sanchez was “traveling at a high rate of speed” as he was riding north on the 2000 block of Saul Kleinfield.

Sanchez struck a curb and crashed, police said.

The teenager was transported to Del Sol Hospital, where he died from injuries suffered in the wreck, police said.
