First responders work for more than an hour to extricate driver
El Paso firefighters, police and Emergency medical technicians worked for more than an hour this morning to extricate a driver from inside an overturned SUV in Northeast El Paso.
Witnesses at the scene told ABC-7 the lone driver was heading east on Salem when for some unknown reason he lost control of the vehicle, hit a small brick wall and rolled over at the intersection of Nolan and Salem.
The impact left the vehicle on it’s side, the driver trapped inside.
Rescue crews had to cut the roof off the SUV in order to get the man out of the vehicle.
He was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
