LCPD: Man shows gun and demands pills at Walgreens
Las Cruces police say a man displayed a handgun and demanded prescription drugs around noon Wednesday at a Walgreens located on 2300 E. Lohman Avenue.
Police say the suspect was last seen leaving the store and heading south from the pharmacy on foot.
Police are continue their investigation.
Nearby schools were placed on shelter-in-place as a precautionary measure. That order has been lifted and schools continued with their regular schedules.
