EPPD: Man charged with indecency with a child
The police department’s Crimes Against Children (CAC) Unit arrested and charged a man with Indecency with a Child/Sexual Contact.
Javier Rodolfo Chavez, 65, allegedly met with his 16-year-old victim during a job interview, police said.
The alleged offense happened on September 25, 2017 on the 9000 block of Dyer, police said.
Chavez was taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Jail on a bond of $25,000.
