New E-Fast Pass Program Introduced at Two Ports of Entry

When you travel on a toll road in Texas, you need a toll tag which automatically pays your toll.
Now people who use two of our international bridges regularly can get a similar type of tag.
Today, El Paso International Bridges introduced the E-Fast Pass, which replaces the Automatic Vehicle Identification program.

“The E-Fast Pass new name and branding highlights the program’s purpose – to improve the efficiency of toll collection at the City’s International Bridges,” said Monica Lombraña, Managing Director of Aviation and International Bridges.

You can sign up for an E-Fast Pass at the Zaragoza International Bridge Toll Plaza Office or online. You will need your driver’s license, email address, phone number, vehicle description and method of payment to set up a pre-paid account.

Once you’re signed up, a windshield tag with an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chip will be mailed to you. Put the sticker on your car’s windshield and you’re all set.

When you pull up to a toll booth at either the Zaragoza or Stanton Street bridge, an RFID reader will scan your tag and deduct the toll amount from your pre-paid account.
