HQ Trivia gaining popularity

A live game show app is growing in popularity.

HQ Trivia launched last August and already attracts millions of players each day. In order to play, you have to download the free app. There are two contests each day and you must correctly answer between 12-15 questions or you’re eliminated.

Andy Martinez and Taylor Hines work at The City Magazine and test their trivia knowledge daily.

“I like that it makes you think and also provides a sense of community in an office like this,” Martinez said.

If you answer all questions correctly, you win a cash prize. The grand prize can range anywhere from $2,500 to $50,000. If you’re one of the lucky few winners, then you split the winnings with others across the world.

“I think my girlfriend might have actually sent it to me and she said you should play this game you can win money. And I was like, I can win money? I need money let’s do this,” Hines said.
