Annual event raises awareness on hunger, Empty Bowls

Dozens showed up for the 14th annual Empty Bowls event Saturday morning.

Volunteers filled up bowls with soup and different foods from local restaurants.

Every year, potters, craftspeople and members of the community collaborate bringing awareness to our community and raising funds for El Pasoans Fighting Hunger.

The organization helps serve 91,000 people in El Paso and surrounding areas.
