43 El Paso ISD schools to participate in free summer meal program

Forty-three schools in the El Paso Independent School District have been selected as sites for the free Summer Food Service Program.

The campuses — 18 elementary schools, 14 middle schools and 11 high schools — will serve free breakfast and lunch to children age 1 to 18.

There no eligibility requirements.

The summer meal program will run from June 11-28 for most elementary and middle schools and until June 29 for most high schools.

Some schools will have meal service through July 19 or July 25.

No meals will be served during the week of July 2-6.

Breakfast hours are 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. for elementary schools and middle schools and 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. for high schools.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at all schools.
