EPPD: Three arrests made in connection to East El Paso bar fight
The El Paso Police Department’s Gang unit arrested three men for their alleged connection to an assault that occurred at a bar early in the month.
Investigators arrested 27 year-old Miguel Cuadros, 28 year-old Normando Isaac Alarcon, and 38 year old Rene Holguin, for allegedly being involved in a brawl that broke out at the El Agave Azul Bar.
On the evening of June 4th, 2018, several victims reported an alleged assault taking place at the bar, located on 1411 N. Zaragoza road. Cell phone video of the incident was recorded with and posted to social media, which investigators reviewed in an attempt to identify the suspects.
All three men were booked into the El Paso County Jail, as investigators continue to seek more possible victims of the assault.
Cuadros is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and four outstanding assault warrants. His bond is set at $580,000. Alarcon is charged with aggravated assault causing serious, and is held at a bond of $55,000. Holguin is charged with four counts of assault, and is held at a bond of $20,000.
