UTEP bringing back “Albertsons Day with the Miners” this Friday

On Friday, July 27, Miners coaches, cheerleaders, staff, and their very own mascot Paydirt Pete will be making special appearances at various Albertsons locations in El Paso.

“Albertsons Day with the Miners” will feature a total of eight stores in El Paso.

You can see local UTEP representatives at 3100 Mesa Street, 5630 North Desert Boulevard, 2200 Yarbrough Drive, and 10765 Kenworthy starting from 10 in the morning until 12:00 noon..

If you are not in that area or not able to make it at those locations you still have the chance to see UTEP representatives later that day from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 7022 North Mesa Street, 9111 Dyer Street, 5200 Montana Avenue, or 11320 Montwood Drive.

The Miners hope to see the El Paso community out there as they get ready for the upcoming 2018-2019 athletics season.

At each of these locations you can pick up UTEP soccer, football, and volleyball posters.
