The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing has hit $512 million, which is the fifth-largest prize in the game’s history, according to the lottery’s website.
The drawing is 9 p.m. Mountain Time.
A New Jersey man won $533 million in March, the fourth-largest pot in the game’s history and the second-largest win on a single ticket.
The largest Mega Millions jackpot that was won was back on March 30, 2012 at $656 million shared by winners in Illinois, Kansas and Maryland.
