TMZ: Demi Lovato hospitalized after apparent heroin overdose
Singer Demi Lovato was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after suffering what appears to be a heroin overdose, TMZ reports.
A source told TMZ Lovato was transported from a home in the Hollywood Hills just before noon Tuesday, and is currently being treated. Her condition is unknown.
TMZ reports Lovato has fought substance abuse for years and had been 6 years sober from alcohol, cocaine and Oxycontin.
Last month, the singer released “sober,” a song in which she revealed she had fallen off the wagon, TMZ reports.
Demi just performed on Sunday at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles and was scheduled to go on the road this week for an upcoming show in Atlantic City.
