EPPD: Man found dead in canal is identified
The El Paso Police Department identified the man whose body was found in a canal in the Lower Valley as Saul Hernandez, 41.
Hernandez’s body was found in the canal at 100 Pendale Road after 7 p.m. Monday.
The Crimes Against Persons unit is still investigating his death.
Police have still not explained to the media how Hernandez died, only saying he had physical injuries which appeared to be “suspicious.”
