Los Aztecas hitman arrested in Juarez

The Attorney General’s Office of Chihuahua says that a hitman for Los Aztecas has been detained in Juarez. The hitman, identified at Luis Carlos N., was arrested in the La Joya neighborhood.

Police say he was in possession of a .40 mm handgun with 20 rounds of ammunition. They also say he was in possession of narcotics, believed to be heroine.

Luis is allegedly involved in the murder of a Juarez State Security Commission employee. He had been previously charged with vehicle theft and crimes against health.

Luis was turned over to the North District Prosecutor’s Office, who will carry out the investigation.
