Police: 3 in possession of meth and marijuana, gun recovered

Investigators executing a parole violation warrant arrested two men and a woman allegedly in possession of meth and marijuana.

The arrests were made shortly after 9:30 a.m. on August 29, 2018 at the Quality Inn at 6099 Montana.

Investigators approached 20-year-old Edwin Escobedo Olivas in an effort to execute the warrant and took Olivas into custody. Olivas was allegedly in possession of a gun at the time of his arrest.

A woman with Olivas at the time of his arrest, 23-year-old Victoria Alexa Nuñez, was in possession of meth.

After Nuñez and Olivas were taken into custody, investigators arrested 22-year-old Adrian Amador inside a room at the motel.

Investigators allegedly found a total of 9.98 ounces of methamphetamine, 9.2 grams of marijuana (Kush), 13 grams of marijuana (Reggie) and 19.6 grams of THC.

Amador was charged with Manufacture and Delivery of Methamphetamine. He also had several outstanding municipal warrants, police said. Amador’s and bonds totaled $35,500.

Police charged Nuñez with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine).

Olivas was charged with Manufacture and Delivery of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance (THC), Possession of Marijuana and Parole Violation. Olivas’ bonds totaled $90,000.
