Coach Martin and players spoke about this weeks game

The NMSU Aggies held their weekly press conference today in Las Cruces.

The defense is excited to play against a passing team like they haven’t seen before.

Defensive back Shamad Lomax said, “I never had to do it in my career, having to play a team twice in one regular season so its really going to be strange. But going into this game its going to be brand new playing them for the first time. So going around the second time its going to be weird.”

Coach Martin seemed worried about putting points on the board. Saying, “You know we got score points to win games and we haven’t been scoring enough points this season offensively. You know we got a special teams touchdown and a defensive touchdown in our last game got us over the top. So we got to get where we are scoring points on offense.”

Freshmen quarterback Josh Adkins though seemed confident in his team and what they have been putting together. “It was a huge win for our team to win at UTEP even though we didnt win in the fashion maybe we wanted to especially in the offensive side of the ball. A win is a win and it was big for this town it was big for this team. We had an awesome bye week with a lot of momentum and were looking to carry that over into our field this Saturday night” the quarterback said.
